Terms of Service

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by Yazan Zaid, an individual doing business as Rosenama (“Rosenama,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). You can contact us at [email protected].

Rosenama is a marketplace platform that helps customers discover and book local businesses, shop products from those businesses, and read the Rosenama Journal. It also helps businesses list their services and products, manage bookings and store orders, and present their profiles online. Rosenama is not the provider of the underlying personal or professional services that businesses offer, and is not the seller of products listed by businesses on the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Accounts

You may create an account with an email address and password, or by using Sign in with Google where that option is available. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

You agree to provide accurate registration details and to keep them up to date. Booking appointments and placing store orders require a signed-in account with a verified email address. We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these Terms, or pose a risk to the Service or other users.

4. Customers and businesses

5. Bookings

Bookings made through Rosenama connect customers with businesses. You must be signed in with a verified email address to create a booking. Details such as service, time, staff, and contact information may be shared with the relevant business so they can fulfill the booking.

Disputes about service quality, pricing, no-shows, or cancellations should first be raised with the business. Rosenama may, at its discretion, help facilitate communication but is not obligated to mediate or resolve every dispute.

6. Online store and cash on delivery

Some businesses offer products for purchase through the Service. Store orders are agreements between you and the selling business. You must be signed in with a verified email address to place an order. Delivery contact details and location information you provide at checkout are shared with that business so they can fulfill the order.

Payment for store orders is cash on delivery (COD), settled directly with the business. Rosenama does not collect or process product payments (including card or online payments) on the platform. If we introduce platform payment features later, we will update these Terms.

You may cancel an order through the Service while it is pending or confirmed, subject to the tools available in your account. Once an order is out for delivery or delivered, further changes or cancellations must be arranged with the business. The business may also cancel an order according to its practices and the tools available in the portal.

Rosenama does not operate a returns or refunds process for store orders. Any return, exchange, or refund is solely between you and the business.

Disputes about products, delivery, pricing, COD payment, or cancellations should first be raised with the business. Rosenama may, at its discretion, help facilitate communication but is not obligated to mediate or resolve every dispute.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or misleading purposes, including placing fraudulent store orders.
• Harass, abuse, or impersonate others, or post defamatory or infringing content, including in Journal articles or product listings.
• Scrape, overload, or attempt to disrupt the Service, or bypass security or rate limits.
• Upload malware or content you do not have the right to share.
• Use the Service if you are under 16.

8. Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as reviews, business descriptions, photos, product listings, and Journal articles). By submitting content, you grant Rosenama a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the Service.

The Rosenama name, branding, software, site design, and platform Journal content are owned by Rosenama or its licensors. You may not copy or misuse them without permission.

We may review, reject, remove, or unpublish content that violates these Terms or applicable law, including shop Journal articles submitted for publication.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, and we may modify or discontinue parts of the Service with or without notice.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rosenama and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or from interactions with businesses listed on the Service.

Rosenama is not responsible for the acts, omissions, services, products, premises, delivery, or cash-on-delivery arrangements of businesses listed on the platform. Your remedies for issues with a booked service or a store order lie primarily with that business.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to Rosenama for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) fifty US dollars (or equivalent), except where prohibited by law.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. Where available, you may request account deletion through the product or by contacting [email protected]. Account deletion may be limited if you have an active business membership or other obligations that require retention of certain records.

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk for other users, or if we discontinue the Service.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator’s principal place of business. The specific jurisdiction will be specified here once it is finalized. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws that apply to you.
